This young red wine is characterized by above-average acidity and a touch of berry tannins. Valgejõe Punane belongs to the category of light-bodied red wines, somewhat reminiscent in style and structure of an Old World Pinot Noir. It shows vibrant acidity and astringency from chokeberry tannins, which will mellow over time. As the wine matures, it becomes even juicier and more expressive.
