The signature wine of Valgejõe Veinivilla is crafted from a blend of local apples (90%) and Japanese quince (10%). Thanks to its balanced acidity and crisp apple character, this wine has even been mistaken for a Rheingau-style Riesling in blind tastings. Since the very first year of production, we have recreated this wine annually, aiming to preserve the well-received harmony of its original profile.

Testimonials
The greatest recognition so far is the silver medal Valgejõe Valge received in 2017 in the US competition Drink Outside the Grape (Virginia), competing with local fruit wines. It has also earned the Swallow label of the Recognised Estonian Taste and the Estonian Craft Wine label of the Estonian Small Prusers Association. In addition, it was selected as the 2018 North Estonian Representative Drink of the Year in the region’s local drinks competition organised by North Estonian Local Food.
Food recommendations
A very good accompaniment to white meat dishes: grilled chicken with vegetable garnish or roast chicken in a sweet and sour sauce. Goose also goes well with vegetables and a creamier sauce. It goes well with fatty fried or grilled salmon. But of course it also goes wonderfully with good old pork and sauerkraut.
