This flagship wine blends 90% local apples with 10% Japanese quince (Chaenomeles), striking a beautifully balanced harmony between acidity and pure apple character.
Thanks to this refined balance, it has been mistaken in blind tastings for a Rheingau-style Riesling. Since our very first vintage, this wine has been produced every year with great care, as we strive to maintain the level of balance that made it a standout from the start.

Testimonials

The greatest recognition so far is the silver medal Valgejõe Valge received in 2017 in the US competition Drink Outside the Grape (Virginia), competing with local fruit wines. It has also earned the Swallow label Pääsukesemärk of the Recognised Estonian Taste and the Estonian Craft Wine label of the Estonian Small Crafter’s Association. In addition, it was selected as the 2018 North Estonian Representative Drink of the Year in the region’s local drinks competition organised by North Estonian Local Food.

Food recommendations

A very good accompaniment to white meat dishes: grilled chicken with vegetable garnish or roast chicken in a sweet and sour sauce. Goose also goes well with vegetables and a creamier sauce. It goes well with fatty fried or grilled salmon. But of course it also goes wonderfully with good old pork and sauerkraut.
